On December 1, in the videoconference mode, a meeting of representatives of the State Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan on Statistics with colleagues from the Central Statistical Bureau of Israel took place.
The meeting was organized with the support of the Embassy of the Republic of Uzbekistan in the State of Israel.
At the opening of the meeting, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Uzbekistan to the State of Israel Feruza Makhmudova made an introductory speech.
On the agenda of the meeting, the parties made presentations on the activities of the national statistical offices of the two countries. We covered a wide range of issues from statistical practice and outlined areas of bilateral cooperation.
On the part of the State Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan on Statistics, the meeting was opened by Akrom Sultanov - Head of the Department for Monitoring and Coordination of the Open Data Portal. The presentation of the State Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan on Statistics was voiced by Dilshod Zakirov - Head of the Department of Organization and Methodology of Statistical Work.
Following the meeting, the parties agreed to continue further cooperation and study the experience of the statistical practice of the two countries.
