In January-September 2021, the gross value added (GVA) in construction in the Samarkand region amounted to 2,263.7 billion soums and, compared to the same period last year, increased by 16.0%. In the period under review, the share of this sector in GRP reached 6.1% and, compared to January-September 2020, increased by 0.2 percentage points, and compared to the corresponding period of 2017 by 2.2 percentage points.
