According to the results of January-June 2022, the GRP of the Syrdarya region amounted to 7,692.4 billion soums and, compared to January-June 2021, increased by 5.7%. In this region, positive growth rates were noted in the sectors of agriculture, forestry and fisheries - 103.3% (share in the GRP structure - 32.5%), industry - 110.4% (27.2%), construction - 100.9 % (7.8%) and services - 104.7% (32.5%). GRP per capita increased by 3.5% and amounted to 8,713.7 thousand soums.
