As of July 1, 2022, the population over working age in the Republic of Uzbekistan amounted to 3972.2 thousand people with a share of 11.2 % in the total population. By regions, the largest share of this indicator was 15.6 % in the City of Tashkent, the smallest 9.0% in the Surkhandarya region.
