In January-June 2022, 1,058.3 billion soums of foreign investments and loans (96.5 million US dollars in dollar terms) were disbursed in the Khorezm region, which amounted to 85.0% compared to the corresponding period last year.
In the general structure of foreign investments and loans, foreign investments amounted to 139.5 billion soums, and 918.8 billion soums were foreign loans.
Of the total investment in fixed assets in the current period, foreign direct investment amounted to 91.0 billion soums, foreign loans guaranteed by the Republic of Uzbekistan - 106.2 billion soums, other foreign investments and non-guaranteed loans - 812.6 billion soums.
