As of July 1, 2022, in all categories of farms in the Jizzakh region, the total number of cattle amounted to 916.3 thousand heads (102.3% compared to July 1, 2021), of which 261.4 thousand heads are cows ( 102.8%), sheep and goats - 2,270.3 thousand heads (102.5%), horses - 29.4 thousand heads (107.9%) and birds - 3,702.2 thousand heads (116 ,9 %).
