As of October 1, 2022, the number of horses in the republic reached 264.0 thousand heads.The main part of the livestock of horses was observed in dekhkan (personal subsidiary) farms - 193.9 thousand heads, or 73.4% of the total livestock.A significant proportion of the total number of horses is to the Tashkent region (20.8%). At the same time, an increase in the number of horses was recorded in Kashkadarya (13.2%), Jizzakh (11.1%) and Samarkand (10.6%) regions.
