On December 15 this year, in the Department of Statistics of the Namangan region, the head of the Department of Price Statistics of the State Committee on Statistics Mukhtar Umarov and the head of the Department of Consumer Price Statistics Shavkat Khainazarov held a training and practical seminar on the organization of monitoring and calculation of consumer price indices for goods and services in 2023 and the effective use modern technologies in these processes.
The seminar was attended by the management of the statistics department of Namangan region, employees of the price statistics department and registrars of the territorial statistics department, who monitor prices.
At the event, relevant instructions and recommendations were given on price registration in the consumer sector, the choice of observation objects, the formation of average prices for them and the effective use of modern devices, in particular, a tablet.
During the seminar, relevant proposals were received from the registrars on the operation of the software developed to organize monitoring of consumer prices for goods and services in 2023 and installed on a tablet device, its convenience and shortcomings.
Also, with the participation of specialists, visits were made to the places of deployment at organized shopping malls located in the city of Namangan, price indicators in shopping malls, their transparency were monitored, appropriate proposals and recommendations were given to registrars on entering prices for tablets.
