As of January-November 2022, in the Samarkand region, 77.9% of households have children under 16 years of age.
Of them:
- with one child - 22.5%;
- with two children - 26.2%;
- with three children - 20.1%;
- having four or more children - 9.1%.
According to the survey, 22.1% of households do not have children under the age of 16.
