According to the results of January-September 2022, the gross value added (GVA) in construction in the Surkhandarya region amounted to 2,106.1 billion soums and, compared to the same period in 2021, increased by 5.3%. In the period under review, the share of this sector in GRP reached 8.5% and decreased by 0.1 percentage points compared to January-September last year, and increased by 1.4 percentage points compared to the same period in 2018.
