A seminar on the topic "National Accounts Statistics" was held on January 21 - February 4, 2023 in Vienna (Austria), organized by the International Monetary Fund jointly with the Joint Vienna Institute (JVI).
The seminar was attended by representatives of the statistical services of Armenia, Albania, Georgia, Lithuania, Kazakhstan, Kosovo Kyrgyz Republic, Turkey, Serbia, Ukraine and the Republic of Uzbekistan.
From the Agency on Statistics, head of the Division of Current Accounts Mekhmonov Jakhongir, deputy head of the Division of Formation and Analysis of Macroeconomic Indicators Mamatmuradov Khusniddin, a senior specialist of the Division of Formation and Analysis of Macroeconomic Indicators Berdiyorov Fazliddin and a senior specialist of the Division Kushchiev Davron, took part in this seminar.
The main goal of the seminar was to exchange experience between the participating countries, to develop the knowledge and skills of the participants on the formation of indicators of the SNA.
During the seminar, the participants exchanged opinions on ways to improve the sources of information necessary for the formation of national accounts indicators.
