At the end of 2022, the volume of GRP of Samarkand region amounted to 62,440.3 billion soums and, compared to 2021, increased by 5.8%. In this region, positive growth rates were noted in the sectors of agriculture, forestry and fisheries - 103.6% (share in the GRP structure - 40.5%), industry - 109.0% (16.0%), construction - 110.1 % (6.1%) and services - 106.3% (37.4%). GRP per capita increased by 3.6% and amounted to 15,323.2 thousand soums.
