On February 17 of this year, the Department of Statistics of the Andijan region of the Agency of Statistics under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan organized a seminar on preparations for the population census and the demographic state of the region at the Andijan Machine-Building Institute.
The leadership of the Department of Statistics of Andijan region, teachers and students of the institute took part in the seminar.
At the event, Deputy Head of the Department of Statistics M. Yusupov provided detailed insights into the content of the concept of demography and labor statistics, the formation of statistical reporting, the population and its composition, the number of births, deaths, marriages and divorces, natural population growth.
Information was also provided on the main goals and objectives of the population census in our republic, on the preparatory processes carried out in this direction.
