As of January 1, 2023, in all categories of farms in the Fergana region, the total number of cattle amounted to 1,075.2 thousand heads (101.9% compared to January 1, 2022), of which 387.6 thousand heads are cows (102.2%), sheep and goats - 918.4 thousand heads (102.8%), horses - 10.4 thousand heads (104.7%) and birds - 8,499.1 thousand heads (104 ,4 %).
