On April 25-27, 2023 in Geneva, Switzerland, the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe organized an expert group meeting on national accounts.
The meeting was attended by experts from national statistical services and central (national) banks of the CIS and foreign countries, as well as the UN EBRD, IMF, Eurostat and the World Bank, as well as a number of international organizations.
The meeting was attended by the head of the department of macroeconomic indicators and national accounts of the Agency of Statistics under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Abrorali Mamadzhanov.
The main goal of the seminar is to support the implementation of the System of National Accounts, the Balance of Payments and other relevant international statistical methodologies by encouraging the use of best practices and facilitating the development of recommendations and methodological materials.
