The Statistical Agency under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan organized a seminar on service sector statistics at the Termez University of Economics and Service.
The seminar was attended by representatives of the Agency of Statistics, the leadership of the Department of Statistics of the Surkhandarya region, teachers and students of the university.
At the event, Abdugafur Mirzahidov, Head of the Department of Statistics of the Services Sector of the Agency for Statistics, gave a detailed idea of the peculiarities of accounting for the provided market services, the structure of the main types of services by type of economic activity.
Information was also provided on the main goals and objectives of the population census in our republic, on the preparatory processes carried out in this direction.
Specialists of the Department of Statistics answered the students' questions in detail.
