On May 17-18 of this year, for the first time, the "Forum of Central Asian countries on the openness of the activities of state agencies" organized by the cooperation of the Anti-Corruption Agency and the representative office of the Konrad Adenauer Foundation in Uzbekistan was held.
At the forum, at the initiative of the head of state, a presentation on the reforms implemented in Uzbekistan to ensure the openness of the activities of state agencies and their effectiveness was brought to the attention of the international community.
Deputy Director of the Statistics Agency under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Ziyayev Zoxidjan Muratovich and Head of the Department of Monitoring and Coordination of the Open Data Portal Sultanov Akrom Amanovich participated in this international conference, which is being held for the first time. In addition, representatives of responsible state agencies of Central Asian countries and leading experts of international and non-governmental organizations took part in it.
During the forum, international experts from countries such as France, Germany, Slovenia and Argentina also shared their experience and best practices in the field of ensuring openness in the activities of state bodies.
The main goal of this event is to exchange effective experience in the fight against corruption, to further increase the openness of government agencies, and to further develop international scientific cooperation.
