On June 15, 2023, a master class was organized by the Statistics Agency under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan at the "Scientific and Practical Laboratory of Statistics" at the Tashkent Financial Institute.
At the event, the head of the Department of Statistics of Living Standards and Population Surveys of the Agency for Statistics Madaminov Umid Kanzhaboevich made a presentation for teachers and students of the institute on the topic “Statistics of living standards in the Republic of Uzbekistan”.
The presentation provided information on the methodological aspects of studying the standard of living of the population, the volume of sample surveys of households, the stages of sampling, household survey questionnaires, as well as the methodology for calculating the total income of the population.
As a result of the event, an agreement was reached to hold such events on a regular basis, as well as to organize practical classes for students.
The specialist of the Agency of Statistics answered in detail all the questions asked by the participants of the event.
