The Agency of Statistics under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan hosted a presentation of a seminar on improving the statistics of data related to natural disasters held on June 5–9 2023 in Bangkok, Thailand.
At the event, Shaikhali Abdurakhmanov, Head of the Department of Statistical Observations in Education, Health, Science and Innovation, spoke about the results and impressions of the business trip.
During the presentation, Sh. Abdurakhmanov spoke in detail about the countries that participated in the seminar in Bangkok, about their experience of working on this topic.
During the seminar, an active discussion took place on the above topics, recommendations were given on the implementation of the acquired knowledge and skills in practice based on international experience.
