As of January 1, 2023, in all categories of farms, the number of camels amounted to 19.9 thousand heads.
The largest share of the total number of camels among the regions belongs to the Navoi region (45.7%). Also, a significant share was noted in the Republic of Karakalpakstan (22.1%), Bukhara (12.2%) and Kashkadarya (8.3%) regions.
