On July 24 this year at the Statistics Agency under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, a seminar was held for agency employees following the results of employees' participation in the training "Best Practices on improving the quality of open data" in Washington, USA.
It was noted at the seminar that the training conducted in the USA was aimed at further improving the open data system, increasing the openness of the public sector, as well as improving the business climate in Uzbekistan. Thanks to the OSCE Project Coordinator in Uzbekistan and the technical support of Open Data Watch, Uzbekistan's rating in the Open Data Inventory (ODIN) rating has increased by 48 points since 2018, which has become one of the most significant improvements in the history of the ODIN assessment.
Also, for the responsible employees of the agency, full information was provided about the knowledge and skills acquired during the training.
