As of July 1, 2023, the total resident population of the Syrdarya region amounted to 904.9 thousand people, an increase of 2.0% compared to the corresponding period of 2022.

The number of men – 454.5 thousand people,
In urban areas – 390.4 thousand people,
In rural areas – 514.5 thousand people.
