As of July 1, 2023, the total resident population of the Tashkent region amounted to 3019.9 thousand people, an increase of 1.9 % compared to the corresponding period of 2022.

The number of women – 1504.6 thousand people,
The number of men – 1515.3 thousand people,
In urban areas – 1509.4 thousand people,
In rural areas – 1510.5 thousand people.
