In January-June 2023, a total of 243.2 thousand tons of melons were produced in the republic, or 105.8 % compared to the corresponding period of 2022.
An analysis of the total production of melons by category of farms showed that 40.8 % of their volume falls on farms, 55.3 % - on dekhkan and subsidiary plots, 3.9 % - on organizations engaged in agricultural activities.
