As of July 1, 2023, in all categories of farms in the Jizzakh region, the total number of cattle was 928.0 thousand heads (101.3 % compared to July 1, 2022), of which cows - 265.7 thousand heads ( 101.6 %), sheep and goats - 2,304.7 thousand heads (101.5 %), horses - 30.4 thousand heads (103.5%) and birds - 3,881.2 thousand heads (104 ,8 %).
