On September 11-13 this year in Jakarta, Indonesia, the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (ESCAP) organized a conference as part of the Big Data for Official Statistics project.
Deputy Director of the Agency of Statistics under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Ziyaev Zohijan Muratovich and other responsible persons took part in the online conference.
At the international conference, the organizers exchanged views on the ongoing work on the “Big Data for Official Statistics” project.
Deputy Director of the Agency of Statistics Zohijan Ziyaev made a presentation on the topic: “Big data for official statistics of Uzbekistan: today and challenges for the future”.
Information was also presented during the conference about the upcoming launch of the “DataHub” big data processing center, which will open in Jakarta in the coming days.
At the end of the event, representatives of ESCAP and international experts presented their proposals and recommendations for further development of cooperation within the framework of the Big Data for Official Statistics project.
