As of July 1, 2023, in all categories of farms in the Fergana region, the total number of cattle was 1,063.7 thousand heads (102.1 % compared to July 1, 2022), of which cows - 386.0 thousand heads (101.6 %), sheep and goats - 911.8 thousand heads (101.9 %), horses - 10.0 thousand heads (104.4 %) and birds - 8,425.8 thousand heads (106 ,5 %).
