As of January-August 2023, in the Samarkand region, 78.0% of households have children under 16 years of age.
Of them:
- households with one child – 20.7%;
- households with two children – 29.5%;
- households with three children – 19.2%;
- households with four or more children – 8.6%.
According to the survey, 22.0% of households do not have children under the age of 16.
