Based on the results of January-June 2023, gross value added in agriculture, forestry and fisheries in the Surkhandarya region amounted to 8,628.3 billion soums and, compared to January-June 2022, increased by 3.8 %. At the same time, the share of this sector in GRP amounted to 46.6 %.
