As we previously reported, from 18 to 22 September 2023 in Geneva, Switzerland, the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE) and the United Nations Population Fund organized Census Week 2023: a workshop and expert group meeting on population and housing censuses.
On September 26, 2023, a presentation was held at the Statistics Agency on the results of this seminar and expert meeting organized in Geneva.
The seminar was attended by employees of the Department of Organization and Conduct of Census Processes and the Department of Demographic and Labor Statistics.
At the event, the Deputy Head of the Department of Census Methodology and for Work with Cartographic Documents J. Eshniyazov provided detailed information on the importance of using social networks in the preparation and conduct of the population and housing census, on the use of modern methods of publishing the results of the population and housing census also on the work of targeted of the 2030 Population and Housing Census Round Recommendations Groups to make appropriate plans to prepare for the 2030 Round.
At the end of the event, detailed answers to questions of interest to the participants were given.
