On September 25-29 of this year, at the Institute for Advanced Training and Statistical Research, the Agency of Statistics under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, a training seminar was held to improve the qualifications of employees of the Price Statistics Department of regional statistical departments.
In order to further improve the professional level of knowledge of the staff of the statistical system, detailed information was provided on the methodology for tracking prices and price indices, history and objectives, regarding the purpose and formation, publication of calculations.
In addition, employees of the price observation department were informed about the organization of price observations by visiting the Dehkan markets located in the city of Tashkent.
At the end of the training seminar, the seminar participants exchanged views on organizational issues of the activities of the Department for organizing statistical activities and consolidated information and analytical work, and also noted the provision of all necessary measures for the timely and high-quality execution of assigned tasks.
