Based on the results of January-June 2023, gross value added in agriculture, forestry and fisheries in the Samarkand region amounted to 9,332.3 billion soums and, compared to January-June 2022, increased by 4.2 %. At the same time, the share of this sector in GRP was 31.5 %.
