During the first half of 2023, a total of 243.2 thousand tons of melons were grown in the republic; according to this indicator, compared to the corresponding period in 2022, there was an increase of 5.8 %.
The largest part of the total volume of grown melons by farm category belongs to dekhkan and subsidiary farms (55.3 %), farms (40.8 %) and organizations engaged in agricultural activities (3.9 %).
