A seminar on financial accounts was organized by the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe and the European Free Trade Association in cooperation with Eurostat, the European Central Bank and the International Monetary Fund from 9 to 11 October 2023 in Brussels, Belgium.
The seminar was intended for experts responsible for the compilation or implementation of financial accounts of the countries participating in the seminar. This workshop was attended by representatives of statistical authorities and central banks from Eastern Europe, Caucasus and Central Asia (EECCA).
From the Agency of Statistics under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the head of the Department of Cost and Output Statistics of the Department of Macroeconomic Indicators and National Accounts, Zukhra Mamajanova, took part in this seminar.
The main purpose of the seminar is to exchange experience between the participating countries, develop the knowledge and skills of participants in financial accounts, and explore ways to improve the sources of information necessary for the formation of these accounts.
