In the country, October 21 is widely celebrated as Uzbek language day. The Agency of Statistics under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan also organized a cultural and educational event dedicated to the holiday.

This cultural and educational meeting was supported by Member of the Union of Writers of Uzbekistan, holder of the Order of “Dustlik”, author of more than 20 books, writer and poet Chorsham Ruziev.

At the event, the guest cordially congratulated the participants on the holiday of the Uzbek language and spoke about the rich history of the Uzbek language, in particular about the contribution of our great-grandfathers, such as Mahmud Koshgari, Alisher Navoi, Zahriddin Muhammad Babur, Abdullah Kadiri, Mahmudhuja Behbudi, Abdullah Avloni to the development of our native language .

It also detailed the obstacles to the Uzbek language in the past, as well as the high attention paid to it today. I read samples of my work to statistics workers.

Advisor to the Chairman of Ensuring Compliance with Legislative Acts on the State Language, Kiemiddin Akhmedov, expressed his opinion on the work carried out in the Agency on office work in the Uzbek language and compliance with legislation. Proposals were also made to comply with the standards of the Uzbek literary language of statistical press releases, reports and other documents.

At the end of the meeting, Chorsham Ruziev read an excerpt from a work written about language, soul and love.
