The week of innovative ideas “InnoWeek-2023” has ended under the slogan “Creative education and innovation are the basis for the development of a new Uzbekistan.”
The official closing ceremony of the week took place at the Alpomish Ice Palace. The event was opened by the Minister of Higher Education, Science and Innovation Ibrokhim Abdurakhmanov, who warmly welcomed all participants.
During the week, foreign and domestic experts and analysts exchanged views on reforms in the field of higher education, science and innovation in New Uzbekistan, their essence, achievements and immediate immediate priorities.
The Statistics Agency under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan also took an active part in the week.
In particular, on October 19 of this year at the Tashkent Financial Institute, the Agency of Statistics under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan organized an international scientific and practical conference on the topic “National Strategy for the Development of the Statistical System: Theory and Practice” as part of the International Week of Innovative Ideas “INNO-WEEK-2023".
At the closing ceremony, the organizers awarded representatives of organizations and departments who actively participated this week in various categories.
For active participation in the week, the Director of the Statistics Agency under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Doctor of Economic Sciences, Professor Bakhodir Abdusalomovich Begalov was awarded.
Also, the staff of the Statistics Agency under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan was recognized among representatives of various organizations and departments and was awarded a special diploma.
It should be said that during this week more than 230 different events and exhibitions were organized throughout the republic, in which more than 120 thousand participants took part, of which more than 75 thousand took part in regional events. Also, about 800 foreign guests from more than 30 foreign countries took part in online and offline formats.
