From October 24 to 26 this year, the “High-Level Regional Seminar on Measuring Multidimensional Poverty” was held in Istanbul, Turkey, which was attended by experts and representatives of various governments, statistical agencies and international organizations from the regions of Europe and Central Asia.

The seminar was attended by the Deputy Head of the Department of Statistics of Living Standards and Population Surveys of the Statistics Agency under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Urazbaev Rakhmatjon Otazhanovich.

During the seminar, participants exchanged experiences on different national approaches to measuring multidimensional poverty.

The event also provided an opportunity to strengthen partnerships between multilateral institutions and national partners.
