On October 23-27 of this year in Almaty, Kazakhstan, a regional seminar was organized by the Regional Center for Capacity Development of the International Monetary Fund for the Caucasus, Central Asia and Mongolia on the topic "Supply and Use tables".
Representatives of statistical service from Azerbaijan, Armenia, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyz Republic, Mongolia, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan took part in this seminar.
Bakirov Bunyodbek, the leading specialist of the Division of Coordination of Statistical Evaluation of the Hidden Economy of the Department of Macroeconomic Indicators and National Accounts of the Statistical Agency under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan took part in the seminar.
The main goal of the seminar was to study the unique experiences of countries in the formation of indicators of Supply and Use tables and to develop the knowledge and skills of the participants.
During the event, the participants exchanged opinions on ways to improve the sources of information needed for the formation of Supply and Use tables and Input-Output tables.
