As of January 1, 2023, in the Khorezm region there are 3.5 thousand sports facilities, 0.6 thousand physical education groups, 36 sports and educational institutions.
The number of people involved in sports in sports sections and departments amounted to 102.6 thousand people, of which 36.9 thousand were girls, 65.7 thousand were boys.
