As of January-September 2023, in the Samarkand region, 76.9% of households have children under 16 years of age.
Of them:
- households with one child – 19.7%;
- households with two children – 29.1%;
- households with three children – 19.9%;
- households with four or more children – 8.2%.
According to the survey, 23.1% of households do not have children under the age of 16.
