As of January 1, 2023, there are 3.6 thousand sports facilities, 0.8 thousand physical education groups, and 26 sports and educational institutions in the Republic of Karakalpakstan.
The number of people involved in sports in sports sections and departments amounted to 154.2 thousand people, of which 49.7 thousand were girls, 104.6 thousand were boys.
