As of January 1, 2023, there are 2.2 thousand sports facilities, 0.6 thousand physical education groups, and 37 sports and educational institutions in Tashkent.
The number of people involved in sports in sports sections and departments amounted to 158.5 thousand people, of which 57.7 thousand were girls, 100.8 thousand were boys.
