Based on the results of January-September 2023, the share of trade in the GDP of the Republic of Uzbekistan amounted to 6.5%.
In the structure of gross added value of trade, the largest share fell on retail trade (except for trade in motor vehicles) and reached 63.3%. The share of wholesale trade (except for trade in motor vehicles) was 29.3%, wholesale and retail trade in motor vehicles and their repair – 7.4%.
