From December 19 to 26 of this year, “Open Data Week Uzbekistan – 2023” was held in our country.
During this week, a number of trainings and meetings were held. Including:
From December 19 to 22, a training was organized on the topic “Achievements, problems and long-term plans of the Republic of Uzbekistan in the field of open data” for more than 200 managers and employees responsible for ensuring openness in 153 government agencies and organizations.
These trainings were organized in cooperation with the Statistics Agency under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan. Training courses were organized jointly with the OSCE Project Coordinator in Uzbekistan, the Technology Park of Software Products and Information Technologies (IT-PARK) and the Anti-Corruption Agency.
On December 20, a meeting was held with the delegation of the Statistical Agency under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan on the topic of work being done and results achieved in the field of open data in Uzbekistan and the results achieved.
On December 22, the Institute for Staff Advanced Training and Statistical Research at the Statistics Agency hosted an international scientific and practical conference “BIG DATA, artificial intelligence and e-commerce in the development of the digital economy: problems, challenges, solutions.”
Also on December 26, a meeting was held with employees of the Department of monitoring and coordination of the open data portal and a representative of the Office of the OSCE Project Coordinator in Uzbekistan.
