According to preliminary data, in January-September 2023, 38.6 thousand tons of wool were shorn in the republic.
Compared to 2022, this figure was 103.6 %.
A significant share of the total volume of shorn wool belongs to the Kashkadarya region (22.1 %).
At the same time, high rates of shorn wool were noted in Navoi (11.8 %), Jizzakh (11 %) and Bukhara (10.9 %) regions.
