In January-December 2023, the republic produced 2.8 million tons of meat (in live weight), this figure increased by 3.9 % compared to the corresponding period in 2022.
The largest volume of meat production (in live weight) was recorded in dehkan and subsidiary farms - 2,406.6 thousand tons, or 84.9 % of the total volume of production; on the contrary, low volumes were observed in farms - 179 thousand tons (6 .3 %).
