According to preliminary data, in January-December 2023, the republic produced 2,833.3 thousand tons of meat (in live weight), or compared to 2022, this figure was 103.9 %.
A significant share of the total volume of meat belongs to the Samarkand region (11.5 %).
At the same time, high rates of meat production were noted in Kashkadarya (11.5 %), Tashkent (10.8 %) and Bukhara (10.5 %) regions.
