The Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated March 4, 2024 No. PP – 114 “On measures to organize the activities of the Statistics Agency under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan” defines the tasks of deepening reforms in the field of “Official Statistics” and transforming the activities of the system for improving the literacy of reporting workers, including number of business entities.
In this regard, on May 29-31, 2024, in the Surkhandarya region, together with the Department of Statistics of the Surkhandarya region, a short-term training course in the direction of “Statistics” was organized on a contractual basis.
Shavkat Dzhumaniyazov, a senior lecturer at the Department of Statistics of the Institute for Advanced Studies and Statistical Research, and the person responsible for receiving statistical reporting from the Statistics Department of Surkhandarya Region took part in this training course with their presentations and video lessons.
Detailed answers to questions from listeners that arose in the process of preparing and presenting statistical reports were also given, and on-site solutions to problem situations were shown.
