The Statistics Agency also carries out a number of tasks to ensure the implementation of the tasks defined in the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated February 7, 2024 No. PP-62 “On measures to radically improve the personnel training system for the economic sectors.”
In this regard, on May 28 of this year, a discussion was organized at the Agency of Statistics under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan on the development of curricula and qualification requirements for the undergraduate courses “Statistics” and master’s degrees “Statistics” and “Business Analysis”.
The event was attended by employees of the Agency under the leadership of Deputy Director of the Agency of Statistics under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Ziyaev Zohijon Muratovich, a foreign expert from Yonsei University and a number of teaching staff of Karakalpak State University and Tashkent State University of Economics.
During the discussion, A. Ayubjonov and B. Utanov made a presentation of educational programs developed by the Tashkent State University of Economics in the above areas and specialties.
As a result of the event, proposals from the Statistics Agency, foreign experts and other universities were accepted to make additions and changes to the developed curricula and agreed to continue the discussion.
