On May 29 of this year, the Statistics Agency discussed the implementation of the tasks defined by the decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated March 4, 2024 PP-114 "On measures to organize the activities of the Statistics Agency under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan".
The event was attended by employees of the Ministry of Digital Technologies of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Digital Government Project Management Center under the Ministry of Digital Technologies of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Statistics Agency under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
During the event, topics such as the further development of the field of open data in our country, an increase in the number of open data sets, and the study of international practice to create the possibility of placing geospatial data on the Open Data Portal were touched upon.
They also discussed issues related to the implementation in practice of proposals and recommendations made on further improvement of the Open Data Portal, expressed by experts from ESKATO in March and a representative of the international organization Open Data Watch in April this year.
